Thank you, Lord for your compassion. Help us to be compassionate and mature. Help us to hold our tongues and our fingers when needed. And help us to say what is necessary when needed, too. Help us to think and pray before we speak. Thank you for guiding us. Thank you for making a way when there seems to be no way. Thank you for teaching us patience, gratitude and empathy.

Thank you for hearing our hearts without judgment. Thank you for understanding and doing your best for us as we keep on learning to love you more. Thank you for using all these situations to bring us closer to you and others closer to you. Help us to be loving in all our situations. Thank you for slowing us down and capturing our hearts and our affection.

Help us to pay more attention to you and your Word. Help us to listen well. Help us to follow you well. Thank you for mending our broken hearts. Thank you for providing, restoring, encouraging, correcting and teaching us. Thank you for using us to love others with the love you’ve shown us. Thank you for your perfect will and your perfect timing even in our imperfection. You are perfect, Lord. You are good. You are gracious. How great is your loving kindness toward us!
