Not afraid

We don't fear the enemy, so why shy away from Halloween like it's evil? We make it about the Lord, just like any other day. We surrender to God's will for us whether to witness, mingle, enjoy fellowship or not. There's no judgment either way. We know that God triumphs over the enemy, so it's not a party for the enemy, no matter what we do.

We celebrate Jesus every day and the same on Halloween. The enemy can't even touch us without God's permission. Job lost much and double was restored by the Lord. God has the final say. We're either on God's side or the losing side, and God wins Halloween too. Any thing the day was made to be about in the past is not powerful.

As real as the enemy is, God wins. Every time. So no need to give a day to the devil like he owns it. Is not our God in charge of every day? And is not our God stronger than he who is in the world? And we have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. We will be in paradise, with the Lord. And here and now our eyes are on things above.

The Lord reigns, and on this day we'll be glad to be out and about to hear and repeat it. We will love and give and live like the Lord has the victory in everything, because he does. And we will celebrate like God is good every day, because he is. Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. In Him we have all good things. We are all held together by Him. He is working all things for good for those who love Him. We trust Him and enjoy Him, every day.
