Forgive me for being selfish and afraid. Thank you for holding onto me. Thank you for loving us and doing the best for us. Thank you for being in control. Thank you for saving us from destruction when we go the wrong way. Thank you for being so good, no matter what. Your goodness doesn’t depend on our goodness. Thank you for showing us your mercy and sovereignty.

Help us to listen better to your voice. I love your voice more than I love anything. You are so much better than anything we could ever experience in any earthly way. Thank you that we get to know you here and now. Please protect our relationships with and belief in you, more than anything. Protect our children’s relationships with you. Help them to love you more than anything and to know that only you satisfy.

Thank you, God, for caring about our needs and our health. We love you. We need you so bad. We rely on and trust in you. Help us to glorify you. Thank you for forgiving us when we’ve been a bad example of your love. Help us to own up to it and admit our wrongs. Increase our humility and increase your glory in our lives. Thank you for meeting our every need in your name.

Thank you for knowing us so well. Thank you for protecting us from going too far or anything. We can rest knowing this is all in your hands. We love you like nobody’s business. Thank you for watching out for those we love. You are too good, as if there were such a thing. Thank you for being trustworthy. You never have a breakdown. You never try to hurt anyone. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you for healing every pain.
